Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup Equal® Spoonful *
1/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup plain flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 175°C. Beat butter with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Mix in Equal and brown sugar until combined.
Combine flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Mix into butter mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded teaspoons of dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are a light golden colour. Transfer to wire rack and let cool.
